Who it's for

For the people paying for the project
Whoever is paying for a construction project, public or private, has the same job: keep the budget straight, pay contractors the right amount and get approvals done on time. Kipso does the paperwork for all three.
Who it's built for
School districts
Bond programs, fund rules, board reports and a public bond page. Our lead example, and the demo's fictional district.
Cities and counties
Capital improvement programs, transit and water agencies, and reports for council.
Higher education
Campus buildings, renovations and deferred maintenance, with reports for trustees.
Healthcare
Expansions and renovations for hospitals and health systems.
Private developers and owner's reps
Budgets, contractor bills and approvals, with a simpler setup.
Public owner mode, or a simpler setup
The core is the same for every owner: the budget, contractor bills, change orders, approvals and a monthly report. What changes is what sits around it.
Public owner mode
For school districts, cities, counties, public agencies and public colleges: funding sources with their own rules (bonds, grants, state matching funds), reports for your board or council and oversight committee, and a public page residents can read.
A simpler setup for private owners
The same budgets, contractor bills, change orders and approvals, without the public features. You report to your owners or investors, not a bond committee. We're shaping it with early users, so tell us what you need.
The demo is a fictional school district, Cedar Ridge Unified, so it shows public owner mode in action. Try Kipso (opens in a new tab)
Made for the work you already do
From the budget to the monthly report, one place for all of it.

Built for every role
Who works in it during setup, migration and day to day, and what changes for each of them.
Executive sponsor
Facilities, bond program, public works or capital projects director.
Every project's budget, contingency and risk in one place, and the board or council report built from live numbers.
Program controls / implementation lead
Program controls or capital program manager, a PMO analyst, or your owner's rep.
Setup from the files you already keep, clean data in one place, and far fewer manual steps.
Finance
Controller, budget analyst or AP supervisor.
Numbers that reconcile to the books by fund, a prompt-pay deadline on every pay app, and an audit trail of who approved what.
Purchasing and contracts
Purchasing or contracts officer.
Bids through to award, vendor standing (prequalification, insurance and licenses), and contracts and change orders in one record.
IT
IT project manager or ERP analyst.
No heavy IT project: clear data handling, accounting exports as a CSV mapped to your system's import format, imported by your finance team, and moving data in with Kipso Bridge.
Daily users
Project managers, coordinators and document control, and contractors.
Drafted change orders, pay apps that arrive already checked, documents and submittals in one place, and a contractor portal (in development).
