Public bond transparency

Show voters where the money went, every month

A public page for each bond program, in plain language. It updates from your approved figures, and Kipso drafts each project's monthly update for staff to review and publish.

What's on the page

  • Bond totals. Authorized, under contract and spent to date.
  • Every project. Status, percent complete, budget, spending and expected completion.
  • A monthly update. What happened, what's next, and whether it's on track, written for residents.
  • A clear "as of" date. So nobody mistakes last month's numbers for today's.

Drafted for you, approved by your staff

Animation · fictional district
  1. Kipso drafts each project's monthly update from approved figures.
  2. The project manager or director approves it.
  3. It goes live on the district's public bond page, in the district's own colors.

1. Draft

Each month Kipso drafts every project's update from the approved facts: work completed, money spent, what's next.

2. Review

Staff edit it, or send it back. Only the project's PM or the director can approve it for publication.

3. Publish

One click puts it live. Who approved and published it is logged with the time.

What stays private

The public page shows only published text and headline figures. Its drafting rules keep out change-order negotiations, pay-app findings and staff names, and staff review every update before it's published. It is server-rendered HTML with no scripts, and nothing else from your workspace is sent to it.

For your oversight committee: the same figures feed the monthly board and bond-oversight report, so the public page and the committee packet always agree.
