Early preview. Kipso is a working demo with sample data. Play with it, tell us what you think, and if you want to use it on your project, let us know.

Who it's for

For hospitals and health systems

Expansions, renovations and infrastructure upgrades, often in buildings that stay open: Kipso keeps budgets, contractor bills and approvals in one place, so your facilities team spends less time on paperwork.

What it does for you

  • Approvals that follow your policy. Dollar limits set once; each change order goes to the right people in order, and only the person it's waiting on can approve.
  • Every contractor bill checked. Each pay-app line is checked against the contract, approved change orders and progress on site before anyone signs.
  • Budget and contingency you can see. What's committed, what's pending and a forecast of when contingency runs out, project by project.
  • Reports for leadership and the board. A monthly report built from live cost data, with a drafted summary your team reviews.
  • Payments ready for accounting. Certified pay apps go out as a CSV mapped to your system's import format, imported by your finance team.

Kipso manages construction project data. It isn't built to hold patient information, so please keep that out of it.

An illustration

For example

A hospital adds an infection-control barrier to a renovation in an occupied wing. The change order is drafted with its cost and reason, routed to facilities and the capital committee under your limits, and the forecast shows what's left in contingency while the floor stays open.

This page describes public owner mode or the simpler private setup, whichever fits your system. How the two owner modes differ.

Common questions

Does it handle patient data?

No. Kipso manages construction project data like budgets, contracts and pay apps. It isn't built to hold patient information, so please keep that out of it.

Is there a demo for a hospital?

The demo is a fictional school district, Cedar Ridge Unified. Budgets, contractor bills and approvals work the same way for a hospital, so it's a good way to see how it works.

How is it priced?

It's free during the early preview. We expect to price it by annual construction spend, with unlimited users, the same for any owner.
